Airing August 23rd on Disney+, Star Wars: Ahsoka continues her journey in the continuation of the famous Jedi adventure that was introduced in the animated version and was originally seen in The Clone Wars and Rebels series.
From episode to episode, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) investigates a latent threat that could upset the fragile balance of a still-vulnerable galaxy… She faces many enemies: old ones like Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee). Inosanto) and new ones like Sith Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and his apprentice Shin Hat (Ivanna Sakhno).
He will also be reunited with old allies such as Mandalorian Sabine Wren, played by Natasha Liu Bordizo, and Twi’lek Hera Syndulla, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Together, they will try to prevent the return of Admiral Thrawn and try to find their friend Ezra Bridger, played by Eman Esfand.
Ahsoka is a missing character in the series
But a member of his crew is missing, and only Star Wars fans know the identity of this missing ally. And he’s an important character in the Rebels series that Ahsoka makes many references to and nods to.
This character is Garazeb Aurelios, better known as Zeb. A former Lasath honor guard who joined a rebel group consisting of Hera Syndulla, her astromech droid Chopper, Kanan Jarrus, and the Mandalorian Sabine Wren. They are then joined by Ezra Bridger and Ahsoka Tano to fight the Empire.
The Ahsoka series marks the reunion of this group, with the exception of Kanan Jarrus, who sacrificed himself in their rebellion and who left behind Hera’s son, Yasen. Among the remaining members, therefore, Zeb is missing.
However, Zeb has already appeared in the Star Wars universe in the Mandalore series. In Season 3 Episode 5, we find an alien who is now a member of a New Republic military base. Even if it’s digital, the character will be voiced by Steve Bloom, who already voiced him in the series Rebels.

Zeb’s absence is surprising, especially since Carson Teva (Paul Soon-Hyun Lee), his fellow captain and New Republic pilot, who we already saw in The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 5, also appears in Ahsoka’s line. So where is Zeb? Carson Teva’s presence and Zeb’s absence in Ahsoka blurs the series and chronology of Star Wars.
Zeb is probably busy with another mission, but it’s not too late for him to appear in the Ahsoka series. There are still a few episodes left in the series for Zeb to reunite with his old group. We’ll have to wait for the rest of the series on Disney+ to find out.
The Ahsoka series airs one episode a week on Disney+.
