Killer Coaster on Amazon Prime Video: Did Alexandra Lamm, Audrey Lamm and Chloe Juanette Meet the Real Fairies? One of the creators responds

Amazon Prime Video launched its new French series Killer Coaster online starting Friday, September 15. Actresses Alexandra Lamm, Audrey Lamm and Chloë Juanet all work together as a family for the first time and star in this crazy story.

A real amusement park like environment

The action of this crazy and quite successful project takes place in 1998 in Pallavas Les Flottes, in the intriguing and disturbing confines of an amusement park where murders take place! Sandrine (Alexandra Lam), a contract worker who is often outspoken, will solve this investigation. Then she crosses paths with Ivan (Audrey Lamm) and Carmen (Chloe Juanette), two market girls who are complete opposites… Will they solve these mysteries that smell like cotton candy?

For filming in the middle of the ride, the Killer Coaster teams were able to invest in a real park located in Vias-Plage, Fabrikus World. But was it easy to dive into the market? Nicola Lange, co-creator of the series with Thomas Mansuy, told AlloCiné about this…

The latter (who also directed the episodes of this first season) explained to us: “Fairground is a profession. (…) We accidentally wanted to talk about this profession. We wanted to show people who travel. (…) It turns out that I have an acquaintance who works there, he is a childhood friend, a market worker.”

“The fair was great with us!”

When writing the project, I said two words about it, Nikola Lange remembered. He read a bit of our texts etc… and we got to Vias, Faunfer and everyone already knew my friend! Contact was easier. They accompanied us throughout the preparations and advised us one way or another during filming. So we got into this environment relatively easily.

I also find that these are people who themselves laugh at the clichés that apply to them. He assured us. We didn’t want to focus too much on clichés because they are our heroes and we love them. There was no point in teasing, of course. Besides, the cliché makes everyone laugh! So we measured it.

Anyway, we felt good. The fairs were great with us! They trained the girls to make certain gestures, we drank together… It was a good atmosphere, a friendly atmosphere!“A good relationship that will once again facilitate the filming of a possible season 2?
