Netflix: 12 French actors invited to international TV series

Actors and actresses from France have across the coast and across the Atlantic, and it is not uncommon to find some French talent in foreign productions. French charm is good, especially on Netflix.
A brief, incomplete overview of French actors and actresses who have been invited for small or large roles in foreign series can be found on the platform.
Waiting for Jung in Daredevil and the defenders
Elodie Jung gained international popularity thanks to her character Electra in the Netflix series Marvel’s Daredevil alongside Charlie Cox. He will take on this bad role in the spin-off The Defenders. While these series are original Netflix products, they will soon be available in the Disney + catalog along with all other Marvel works.
Cesar Domboy in Outlander
French actor Cesar Domboy became famous in the Outlander TV series. He plays Claude Fraser, a French immigrant from Ferguson who settled in the American colonies. Jamie takes him under his wing and makes him an employee. But he will very quickly become a father figure to her and even give her a last name. In seasons 2 and 3, Ferguson Fraser is played by Roman Beruks as a child, and from season 3, Cesar Domboy is played by his adult version.
Tomer Sisley in the Messiah
Tomer Sisli played an Israeli intelligence officer investigating a man who allegedly performed miracles in the Messiah in the Middle East. The charismatic Al-Masih divides the opinion and the character of Tomer Sisli will try to distinguish between true and false. The series sparked controversy in the country where it was filmed, in Jordan, and banned from broadcasting for fear of “violating the sanctity of religion.” The Messiah did not receive a second season.
Three unspoken in sexual education
The man who appeared in the series Les Grands has joined another series of teens – this time British – sex education in Season 2 alongside Franco-British Emma Mack. In sexual education, the three autralbas play Rahim, a thoughtful student who runs Murdell High School and had an affair with Eric (Nakut Gatva) before the latter finally contacted Adam.
Marie-Christine Adam in Anna Invention
Famous for her roles in the films “Under the Sun”, “Plus belle la vie” or “Les Trois frères des Inconnus”, Marie-Christine Adam was invited to the Shonda Reims TV series “Invention of Anna”. The actress, who has already appeared in other international films, plays a guide in the garden of Majorelli, dear to Yves Saint Laurent, in Marrakech, faced by the swindler Anna Delvey (Julia Garner). Another Frenchman appears in this episode, he is Asad Boab (Dix Pour Cent), who also appeared in another international TV series below.
Sandor Funtek in a Russian doll
Launched at La vie d’Adèle, Sandor Funtek impressed with Kool Shen’s interpretation of Supremes last year. Meanwhile, actress Natasha Lyon featured in the second season of Russian Dolls. He plays Lenny, who romantically approaches Agnes and tries to escape to West Berlin. It is unclear whether Lenny will return for a potential third season.
Adam Nuru in the elite
He is a talent that should be pursued after his role in the Spanish-Benin feature film Adù. Since then, Adam Nuru has featured in the 5th season of Sulfur Spanish TV series Elite. He plays Bilal, a young immigrant student who approaches Omar (Omar Ayuso), who has just divorced Ander.
Louvia Undergraduate in Light
Luvia Bashelier, best known for her character Manon in the daily TV series Tomorrow We Own on TF1, Luvia Bashelier appeared in Season 5.EliteEspecially in the first episode. He plays Edo, a former French girlfriend of Philippe (Paul Grann), who claims in a video that he was sexually assaulted. We will not see him again this season, but Philippe’s past may reappear and you can expect with him in the 6th season of the Spanish series.
Who killed Sarah in the Jean Reno movie?
In the 3rd season of the Mexican TV series Who Killed Sarah ?, Jean Reno plays the main antagonist: Reinaldo Gomez de la Cortina, a doctor specializing in mental disorders. We learn that he was the one behind all the dirty tricks and manipulations after he trapped Sarah and her entourage. He is responsible for Sarah’s accident and her internment. The character of Jean Reno, a young woman with hereditary schizophrenia, was used for illegal research.
Asad Boob in Peaky Blinders
Already featured in the invention of the Messiah and Anna, Asad Boab (Dixie Power Center) will appear in the first episode of Season 6 of Peaky Blinders. He plays Henry, a bartender at a tavern in Saint-Pierre-et-Michel, where Tommy Shelby (Killian Murphy) arranges a date with Michael, who wants to take revenge on him for Paul’s death.
Gregory Phytus in Peaky Blinders
Following the success of Engrenages outside of France, Gregory Fitusi has starred in numerous British TV series, including Mr. Selfridge and Bichem House. This year he will appear with Asad Buab in the first episode of the last season of Peaky Blinders. He plays one of the customers of a bar in Saint-Pierre-e-Michelon who gets involved in a fight with Tommy Shelby, from which he comes out a loser.
Philippine Leroy-Bowie crown
Philippine Leroy-Bouleier, best known worldwide for his role as Sylvie in Emily Paris, will soon be appearing in Season 5 of The Crown. Actor will play the role of Monic Ritz, widow of Charles Ritz. The latter was sold to Egyptian businessman Mohammed al-Fayed, namely Dodi al-Fayed’s father, who was a companion of the Lady Sister, with whom he tragically disappeared in a 1997 accident under the Alma Bridge.
