The long-awaited series adapted from the book saga “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” already has a date to arrive on Disney+ streaming. This Tuesday (19th), the platform published the first teaser of the production’s debut season, revealing what fans can expect: lots of action, Greek gods and other mythological creatures.
Season 1 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians
The adaptation of the literary saga of the same name, written by the American Rick Riordan, has finally received a television version. The first season begins by showing the events of the first book, “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief,” and introducing famous characters and settings from the story, as well as gods and creatures from Greek mythology, such as the Minotaur.
In the teaser, you can see Percy’s discovery that he is a demigod, his troubled arrival at Camp Half-Blood, and some of his adventures on the way to recovering Zeus’s lost thunderbolt, a plot that should drive the season.

The first two episodes of “Percy Jackson & the Olympians” arrive on Disney+ on December 20. The rest will be published weekly on the platform.
