The stumbles of China and Poland have shaken the ranking of the pre-Olympic groups. Serbia took an isolated lead in Group A, with four wins, compared to three wins and one defeat for China, which saw the Netherlands finish third and have an advantage only in the play-off criteria. In group C, Poland’s defeat was costly and pushed Stefano Lavarini’s men into fourth place, behind Germany, the United States and Italy in that order. And in Group B, Brazil, Japan and Turkey remain in first place, with the Brazilians closely chasing their rivals in third place, just one point behind the pair.

At the end of this Wednesday evening (20th), two matches open another round of the Pre-Olympic. Serbia will face the Dominican Republic, at 11pm, while Puerto Rico and Argentina will duel shortly before, at 10pm.
