Zoro: It’s impossible to recognize this elite star in the first teaser for the Prime Video series

After El Cid, Prime Video is preparing a new Spanish swashbuckling production. This time, the series will focus on the oft-told story of Diego de la Vega… aka Zorro.

After the first photo of the lead actor in the legendary black suit, the platform has recently released the first teaser. A short appetizer of only 30 seconds that conveys a rather classic tone, but with a good dose of action.

This retelling of the character created by Johnston McCully (not to be confused with the character created by Jean Dujardin) is intended to be both “modern” and “bold”. The series is set in Los Angeles in 1834, although the teams shot scenes in the Canary Islands.

Miguel Bernardo, who was discovered in the Netflix series Elite, quickly appears in his pictures, clearly showing the mask and hat. He will be opposite Renata Notney (El Dragón: The Return of a Warrior on Netflix).

The two actors will also be in Cannes in mid-October to screen the first episode of Zorro during Mipcom (an international market for communication software that brings together audiovisual professionals).

For Prime Video subscribers, you’ll have to wait until 2024 to discover episode 10 of the series.
