Game of Thrones: Alive Despite the Strike, Filming on the House of the Dragon Sequel Has Completed What is the date for the second season?

As filming in Hollywood prepares to resume with the end of the writers’ strike and the resumption of negotiations with the actors’ unions, the series is affording itself the luxury of taking the opposite route.

Actor Steve Toussaint confirmed on the social network that the filming of the 2nd season of Dragon House has officially ended. Lord Corley’s Velarion interpreter took the opportunity to congratulate the entire film crew, revealing that the episodes were now in the hands of the editors and special effects supervisors.

Much to writer George AR Martin’s dismay, production on the Game of Thrones prequel went ahead because seven episodes had already been scripted and the majority of the series’ cast is Anglo-Saxon and will join the union of no. Participation in the strike movement in Hollywood.

No air date has yet been announced, but the head of cable channel HBO has already hinted that he plans to bring the series back for the summer of 2024. In France, the series is offered on Amazon Prime Video with its paid Warner Pass subscription.

Remember that the series, a prequel that takes place a hundred years before Game of Thrones, is inspired by the book Fire and blood (Pygmalion Editions). Rumors point to a story spanning four seasons, with other franchise spin-off projects still in development under George RR Martin’s supervision.

The first season of Dragon House is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
