Castlevania Nocturne On Netflix: Will There Be A Season 2?

It has been eagerly awaited by fans and its big debut on Netflix did not disappoint. The animated series Castlevania Nocturne, launched on September 28, moved directly to the sixth position in the ranking of the most watched series on the French platform.

The prequel to the animated series Castlevania, also inspired by the famous video game saga, takes place during the French Revolution, while the heir to the famous Belmont clan investigates the alleged existence of a “vampire messiah”.

While the original series is incredibly popular with Netflix subscribers (as evidenced by its AlloCiné audience rating of 4.1 out of 5), Castlevania Nocturne also had a successful debut on the platform. Is it enough to get the show a second season?

OPEN ENDING (WARNING, SPOILERS)

No renewal of the series has been announced at this time. However, the open ending of the first season seems to confirm that the story of this prequel is not over yet. The final episode ends with an open ending, leaving Mari and Tera’s fate in doubt.

But that’s not all, as the finale of this first season offered fans a big surprise with the reappearance of Alukar, one of the main characters of the Castlevania series.

The son of Dracula, half-man, half-vampire, the latter came to save Richter Belmont at the last minute. So everything points to Alucard playing a bigger role in the second season…

While waiting for the official announcement, many fans of the license took to social networks to declare their love for the series. Also an opportunity for most of them to request a season 2, which we hope will come as soon as possible!
