On Friday, June 11, 2021 at 9:01 AM, Netflix uploaded Lupine Part 2 Episode 5. An explosive new season pitting Assane Diop (Omar Sy) against his sworn enemy Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre). While Part 3 will be uploaded this Thursday, October 5th to Netflix, a little look back is in order!
Pellegrini’s confession
After rescuing his son Raoul, who has been kidnapped by Leonardo, Pellegrini’s best man, Asan becomes even more abusive in order to take revenge on the businessman and justify his actions. He then decides to come up with a daring plan to finally get recognition.
To do this, he seduces Hubert’s daughter, Juliet Pellegrini (Clotilde Hesme), to manipulate her into submitting to a fundraiser organized by the young woman’s family.
Because Hubert Pellegrini planned to transfer the collected money to a private account abroad. But what he doesn’t know is that his accountant, Philippe Courbet (Stefan Crepon), is a Lupine fan who has been recruited by Asan. Therefore, he took care to donate money to the foundation.
In turn, Asan manages to enter the Théâtre du Châtelet, where a charity concert is taking place, to confront Pellegrini once and for all. Our modern Lupine manages to get into the personal dressing room of a great businessman.
Threatened with a knife to the throat, he managed to get a confession. Pellegrini actually hired Babacar, Asan’s father, to make him responsible for the theft of the Queen’s necklace, and thus received a good sum thanks to the insurance.
Asan records his confession on his smart watch to hand over to the police. A chase ensues at the height of the theater, and the police arrive on the scene to arrest Dumont and Pellegrini.
A hero on the run
If Assange Diop manages to escape from the theater by boat, the hero is not at peace. His numerous crimes and robberies have made him a criminal in the eyes of the police, and he has no choice but to go on the run.
Before leaving Paris, he meets Claire (Loudivine Sannier) and Raoul (Ethan Simon) on a bridge in Paris. Lupine, realizing that his life may be dangerous for his son, wants to say goodbye to them and promises to keep an eye on them. Then he goes to hide in a place where no one can find him.
Of course, Assane Diop will not stay in Paris for long. In the third part, which will be much more dangerous, he will return to the capital to try to connect with his family. But the ghosts of the past are never far away, and an unexpected return will turn his entire plan upside down.
