Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Available on CANALVOD.

On May 31st, a certain Miles Morales made a big return to cinema. He’s the Marvel Comics hero who came to life in 2019’s first Oscar-winning animated film, and whose return this year with exciting new adventures has created quite the event.

Because behind his appearance as a normal teenager, this Brooklyn student goes on some extraordinary adventures, to say the least, and it just might be because he’s… Spider-Man!

After being bitten by the radioactive spider and realizing his powers, some of his enemies and many other versions of Spider-Man in Spider-Man: The Next Generation, Miles Morales tries to live his life as a superhero in this sequel. But a threat forces him to go to the Spider-Verse to protect his world.

Moving from dimension to dimension, the young hero finds Gwen Stacy, meets Pavitr Prabakar, Miguel O’Hara and Spider-Punk. It’s all in a soaring mural with an aesthetic as exciting as the story, highlighting the beauty of the various animations and offering fans a chance to admire the many voices of the MCU.

Doctor Octopus and Green Golf in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Among the latter, some fans may have spotted a clever and tasty reference to the Spider-Man universe. And for good reason, if we don’t count the superhero versions we see on screen anymore, some other faces also appear, but in a much more hidden form, like Dr. Octopus and the Green Goblin!

And yes, Spider-Man’s two greatest enemies, Peter Parker’s version, are indeed present in this 2nd opus! The duo actually appear as soft toys in Baby Mayday’s cradle.

If die-hard watchers had a chance to discover this wonderful Easter egg on the big screen, others still have time to see it and see it again on CANALVOD!

And for superhero fans, don’t miss A Stormy Arrival FlashPurchase from October 12 and rent from October 18 on CANALVOD.
