Viewers witnessed the painful rejection of a proposal, and the latest episode provided an update on the current state of affairs.
Tom explained that after the rejection he briefly moved to the United States to live in Las Vegas for a period of 90 days. Tom did so in hopes of meeting Mariah’s children and possibly getting her to say yes the next time she proposed. Unfortunately, Tom explained that he spent most of his time alone in a house and only saw Mariah occasionally. Mariah explained the reason for this in the last one 90 day diaries and spoke of the difficult situation she is in due to her divorce which has taken time, saying:
I felt torn when he was in Vegas because I felt like I was sharing my time with my partner and taking my kids’ time. I don’t want to be disrespectful to his father, you know? Because he’s a really good guy. And I’m still friends with him, so I still want it to be a good relationship. Not only for me, but also for my children. I don’t want my kids to blame me for what happened. For me it was a difficult balance.
90 day diaries showed Tom explaining the situation to a friend and revealed more information about the situation. Tom claimed that Mariah’s husband didn’t live in that house at first, but when he found out that Tom was heading to Las Vegas, he returned.
Las Vegas didn’t go well for Tom and Mariah, but it’s not over. Tom expressed that he hopes things will change once Mariah’s divorce is finalized and explained how everything that happened affected his thoughts on the relationship:
This experience really made me realize that I can’t live without Mariah. I will ask you to marry me again. Let’s hope she says yes this time. But if things don’t change and I’m still sitting outside, I may have to reconsider my position in terms of what I’m going to do. I have to live life. I have to settle down. I have to do this for me.
