Next: Chapter 5 may mark the end of the romance between Hardin and Tessa, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the franchise. Indeed, Castile Landon, the director of After 3, After 4 and After 5, confirmed in an interview that a prequel is in the works after the franchise. Teenage Vogue.

The director explained that it would be a long introspection of Hardin’s character, which we will find in a younger version. Therefore, this means finding an actor other than Hero Fiennes-Tiffin to play this younger Hardin.

But that’s not all, because the director also whispered about the next project Deadline. The sequel is expected to focus on the new generation – Emery (as seen as a toddler in Chapter 5) and Oden, Tess and Hardin’s children, and their cousin Eddie – navigating the turbulent waters of adolescence.

After these two big announcements, fans are left with no more news and can’t wait to know if the franchise will be able to continue. We have to wait for new confirmations or announcements from the teams to know if these two projects are still in development.
