2023 Festival Saint-Jean-de-Luz prize list: Dissidente, the big winner of this anniversary edition!

Chaired by Agnes Jauy, and composed of Guillaume de Tonquedec, Alison Paradis, Sarah Succo and William Lebgill, the jury of the 10th edition of the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Festival has selected Pier-Philippe Chevigny’s first feature film, Dissidente. This Quebec film is the big winner of this edition, as it also wins the audience award and the acting award for its lead actor, Ariane Castellanos. Yurt won the SFCC Critics Award and Best Director Award.

This 10th edition was crowned with great success with more than 9000 spectators. To close the festival, Julien Carpentier’s film La vie de ma Mère, starring Agnes Jau and William Lebgill, was screened. The film will release on March 6.
