The Crown: Watch the teaser and premiere date for season six

Attention fans The crown. Netflix has announced the release date of the next season of the series, which will be divided into two parts. Also revealed was the official teaser for season six and the first photos of the sequel to the story of the British monarchy.

In the first part of the sixth season of The crown, Elizabeth Debicki reprises her role as Princess Diana alongside Dominic West as Prince Charles. Additionally, Imelda Staunton continues her reign as Queen Elizabeth II alongside Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip) and Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret). Salim Daw (Mohamed Al Fayed) and Khalid Abdalla (Dodi Fayed) also return. Making their debuts are Rufus Kampa (Prince William) and Fflyn Edwards (Prince Harry).

The final season of the series depicts events from 1997 to 2005, broadly covering the tenure of Tony Blair (Bertie Carvel).

The first four episodes (part 1) show the blossoming relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, before a fateful car journey brings devastating consequences.

The last chapter is divided into six episodes (part 2). Prince William tries to return to normal life at Eton following his mother’s death, while the monarchy grapples with popular opinion. As her Golden Jubilee approaches, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the wedding of Charles and Camilla and the beginning of a new royal fairy tale between William and Kate.

In the second part, Prince William and Prince Harry will be played by Ed McVey and Luther Ford respectively. Joining them will be Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton. These will be the debut roles for all three actors.
