The industry’s biggest accolade returns in face-to-face format, with a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on August 10

In 2022, more than a thousand professionals were registered in the different categories, 53 fictional features (including children and animation), 33 documentary feature films, 61 short films, 40 Brazilian series, 35 international feature films, 11 Ibero-American feature films. The winners will be chosen in the second round, which begins on June 20, with a vote among the members of the Academy.

There will also be a public vote on a date to be announced shortly and which will choose the favorite film among the Brazilian fiction (drama and comedy) and documentary finalists.
