On Monday, October 16, everything starts here…

Lysandro found a replacement

Lisandro tells Teyssier that he has found a replacement: it is Stanislas du Chesnay. The director of the institute, who is clearly aware of this prestigious name, is delighted. Lisandro confirms his arrival at the end of the day.

Teyssier, Myriel and Iñesta round out most of the Double A students. Lisandro formally announces to them that he will have to leave the Institute, without emotion. As for Teissier, he asks the students to give a warm welcome to his replacement, Stanislas du Chesne.

This double news has little impact. Laetitia takes the opportunity to thank Lysandro for giving her to the gym. The latter assures him that he will ask his successor to continue his training. As for Deva, she finds it hard to accept that her mentor is about to leave the institute. Lysandro explains to her the reason for leaving and reassures her about the future.

On the other hand, Leonard and David are already fighting over who will be Stanislas’ favorite. To put all the odds on his side, David puts on a suit. As she admits to Ethan, Deva in particular is intent on impressing the new hall master with her pleasure.

At the same time, Rose is surprised that Lisandro managed to change Stanislaus’s opinion. Lisandro then tells his colleague that this is a poker move. He is willing to take this risk because he has no other choice.

At the end of the day, everyone is preparing to receive Lysandro’s replacement. Contrary to all expectations, it is not Stanislas, but his father, Hippolyte du Chesnay, who arrives and meets the teachers.

After which, Teissier takes Lisandro aside to make him realize that he doesn’t want a broken old man as his new teacher. Lisandro tries to emphasize the qualities of those who trained him in childhood, but the director does not listen. He forbids Lysandro from going to Montreal until the matter is resolved…

Hortense’s methods are divided

In the first year class, Hortense asks the students to make an omelette. Some of the students are suspicious, especially Malik and Jimmy. However, Hortense explains that they will be judged on the creativity they show with this seemingly simple dish. Penelope decides to play.

At the end of the lesson, Hortense points out that Penelope has no technique, but she knows how to be creative. The complete opposite of Malik. Hortense explains to the students that they will have to learn to combine technique and creativity. To help them, he planned an exercise for them to do for the next class: doing 50 consecutive jumps with a ball and a ping-pong pad while doing something completely different with the other hand. Malik and Jimmy don’t shy away from making fun of him and his unorthodox methods.

At the park, Penelope exercises as Hortense advised and is surprised that Malik and Jim aren’t doing the same. The latter criticizes Chef Rochemont’s methods, which he intends to denounce to Miriel.

Later, Antoine summons Hortense to realize that the first years are a little lost to his methods. He suggests holding them more to calm them down.

Salome wants to prove herself

In the double A kitchen, Salome is very stressed. It’s his first day as a job training manager and he’s out to prove himself. Gaitan, who came to him with knives that his roommate had forgotten, comforts him in his skills. Still, Salome is suspicious of the change, which she has replaced with champagne prosecco. At the same time, Teissier arrives to make sure that Salome is running the restaurant. Tasting her cooking, he immediately notices the change she has initiated and orders Anais’s recipes to be followed to the letter.

After the service, Claire comes to see Salome in the kitchen and tells her that the cooking critic is coming to lunch at Double A next Wednesday. Claire took the opportunity to tell him about Salome’s project. Intrigued by the concept, she is willing to provide him with a list of ingredients so the chef can prepare a custom plate for him. However, Salome doubts that Teissier will accept. Claire offers to speak to him directly.

When she meets Tessier in the park, Claire takes the opportunity to talk to him about the Salome project and protect him as best she can. But the director is adamant: there is no question about Salome’s innovation in Double A. He also suspects that Claire used the situation to hurt him out of pure personal revenge.

Claire then finds Salome and takes her away to give the young girl the bad news. While Salome is ready to give up, her boyfriend encourages her to instead prove Teissier wrong. She suggests defying the director and cooking up a custom plate for the food critic who ends up publishing an excellent piece on her and the double A’s. It is enough to provide good publicity for the institute. Claire agrees to score.
