Five years after the release of Le Grand Bain, Gilles Lelouch donned the director’s hat again for L’Amour ouf. The shooting of this very ambitious film was completed recently after 88 days of shooting.

L’Amour ouf tells the love story between a little bandit and his sly bride, with flashbacks and conflict stories, as summarized by journalist Pierre Lesquières in his report.

The film, which promises to be very extensive, brings together a great cast: François Civil and Adele Exarchopoulos, who, for the record, shared the Bac Nord poster with Gilles Lelouch.

FYI, L’Amour Ouf will be Gilles Lelouch’s third feature film after Narco and Grand Bane. The latter was very successful, with 4.3 million records. As the director explains, it was the success of this film that allowed him to realize this new project, which he had been thinking about for 17 years!

The first attempt to make this film took place a few years ago with Benoit Polvorde. “This movie is a fantasy come true“, he admits still on the microphone of Beau Geste, which was broadcast on Sunday 15 October on France 2.
