10 years after its Parisian success, this retelling of the 1975 film classic returns with its share of killer rabbits, flatulent French fools and existential questions (“Can swallows carry coconuts?”) that will delight any Monty Python fan.

Based on Arthurian legends, the Knights of the Round Table and the Grail Quest, the film is a model of the genre, ranking 5th in Time Out London’s 100 Best Comedies. – among others – and is often quoted in television, film or popular culture in general.

As evidence, Alexandre Astier has always claimed that Monty Python: Sacred Grail! was his bed movie to create the Kaamelott series.
