After a year of waiting, investigative duo Astrid and Raphael are finally preparing for their comeback! France 2 will indeed broadcast from Friday 10 November season 4 of the detective series hosted by Sarah Mortensen and Lola Dewere.
In these new episodes, Astrid and Rafael will have to solve a new mystery that will take them from a bloody diamond theft to Machiavellian chess, from a murder in the cabin of an airplane in mid-flight. Victim dying for the second time.
The two friends will also see their personal lives, as Sarah Mortensen told us a few months ago. Thus, Astrid will see Nils, her very invasive 7-year-old half-brother, whose existence she has only just learned, appear in her well-ordered life.
On the heart side, she tries to build a relationship with Tetsuo. He faces new problems and consults Rafaela, who also has heart problems.
Although the latter thought he was finally finishing Nicholas, a misunderstanding reshuffles the cards. The police department also welcomes a new colleague, Nora, who will sow discord in this sentimental imbroglio.
After the record-breaking success of season 3, which drew an average of almost 5.8 million viewers, giving the police series its best audience since its launch, Astrid and Rafael are back in action in season 4.
For the occasion, Sarah Mortensen, Lola Dewere, Benoit Michel, and Kengo Saito will return for this new stream of episodes. On the new side, Sofia Yamna, a young actress making her debut here, joins the cast to portray Nora, a new recruit to Raphael’s team. Handy Gedio will lend his qualities to Nils, Astrid’s little brother.
As for guests, the episode will feature Tom Villa, Philippe Chevalier, Stormy Buggs, Theo Currin (former world runner-up Paralympics turned actor), Marie-Ange Casta, Lola Marois and Catherine Marshall.
Catch season 4 of Astrid and Raphael on Friday 10 November at 9.10pm on France 2. The first seasons are available in full on france.tv.
