Rejected episodes of Daredevil: Born Again continue to generate controversy. According to the website Comic Book Movie (CBM)Producer Kevin Feige and his Marvel team considered the series’ previously produced material “boring and sleepy.”

According to the portal’s sources, the producer, together with other important names from Marvel, has fired the screenwriters Chris Ord and Matt Corman. They would have written a series focused on the court, moving too far from the Netflix original production, which also featured Charlie Cox.
The protagonist, for example, wore the uniform of the Man Without Fear only in the fourth chapter of the rejected version. With this, Marvel will keep some of the scenes filmed so far, but will try to introduce a new structure to the series.
Arcs involving Punisher and White Tiger
In the same publication, CBM explains what the arcs involving the Punisher and Tiger Branco characters would be in Born Again. The information comes from the X profile (formerly Twitter) CanWeGetSomeToast, known for not always obtaining correct predictions on MCU productions.
The Trial of the White Tiger would be the first story arc of Born Again, in which Matt Murdock (Cox) would agree to represent the hero as his client, after preventing a robbery. In the story, the criminals in question would be corrupt law enforcement officers, and when one of them dies during the confrontation, White Tiger would be accused of being a “cop killer”.
Murdock would then go in search of the surviving police officer to use him as a witness in White Tiger’s trial. After finding him, the lawyer would have adopted his identity in order to identify the other agents involved.
After discovering the truth behind the corrupt agents, Murdock would be attacked and beaten, saved by the sound of a gunshot. After regaining consciousness, he would find the Punisher’s mark on one of the police officers and begin a chase to find Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), initiating the second plot point of Born Again.
Launch
In addition to the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, the series will feature Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher. Both took roles on Netflix, where Daredevil aired three seasons, between 2015 and 2018, available on Disney+.
Among the new cast of Born Again are Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini and Arty Froushan.
Production stopped
After the actors’ strike began, the production was removed from the Disney+ release calendar and, for now, does not have a premiere date.
