The time has finally come! After canceling the first two episodes last week, TF1 will finally air season 2 of Vise le coeur with Claire Keim and Lanick Guthrie on Thursday 19 October at 9.10pm.
Conceived by Fanny Robert and Sophie Lebarbier, this unique detective series was a huge success during its first season, drawing an average of 3 million viewers every night, who developed a passion for the story of Julia and Novak, two exes. – The lovers are forced to work together on an investigation, each more difficult than the last.
It was with an eventful finale that featured many shocking revelations that the first season came to an end. Therefore, fans eagerly awaited season 2 to find out the continuation of the adventures of the two heroes, and especially Novak’s reaction to Julia’s secret.
What’s in store for Season 2 of Aim for the Heart?
Aim for the Heart Season 2 picks up right after the events of the previous season. After Julia reveals her terrible secret in the season one finale, Novak is determined to lift the veil on what Julia seems to have wanted to hide for 25 years.
His ex-girlfriend has yet to admit that she fathered their child after the breakup. The ex-lawyer-turned-commissioner apparently succeeds in unraveling the mystery and discovers that he has a 25-year-old daughter. How will he react when he learns this secret? Answer in season 2.
Meanwhile, at DPJ, Julia and Novak have no choice but to work together. And as the investigation progresses, they reveal themselves to be more and more complicit. They slowly rediscover their childhood complicity. Will they get close to the point of renewing their love story? Secrets and objects leave untold risks that undermine this budding rapprochement.
As for the casting, except for Willie Dias, all the actors will return for Season 2 of Aim for the Heart. In addition to Claire Keim and Lanick Guthrie (who last year addressed rumors of on-set tension), Noemi Cicceportiche (Mel), Zinedine Swalem (Benard), Nicolas Casale (Rafi) and Juliet Plumecoc Mech (Doc) are very much involved.
