Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Monday, October 23, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs Monday night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!

On Monday, October 23, 2023, in such great sunshine…

Mark saves Leonor

It is dark when Mark arrives at Mr. Lecointre’s villa. Hearing the gunshot, Louis’ father rushes inside and comes face-to-face with the thief who just shot Leonore. Fortunately, Mark manages to overpower him and knock him out with a head kick. Alerted by the noise, Louis, Kira and Enrique immediately go downstairs.

After discovering Leonore’s lifeless body, Mark applies compressions to the abdominal wound. While Kira goes to collect towels, Enrique calls for help, but the phone line is cut. With time running out, Mark and Louis decide to take Leonor straight to the hospital where the medical team is tending to her.

The next morning, Leonor wakes up in her hospital room to the delight of Mark and Louis.

On the other hand, Enrique and Kira spent the night at the country house for the robber. The gendarmes sent to the scene tell them that Leonor is safe. A relief for Enrique, but especially for Kira, who breaks down in tears. After comforting her, Enrique offers to take the teenager back to Montpellier, which she accepts.

At the hospital, Dr. Cresson informs Leonor that she had a narrow escape. In other words, if Mark hadn’t taken her to the hospital so quickly, her life-threatening prognosis would have been in jeopardy. After that, Leonor will realize that her ex-husband saved her life. He then waits for the doctor to leave the room to thank him.

Mark later finds Evan and thanks him for saving Leonore’s life. Chloe’s husband then reminds her that he is a doctor before clarifying that he treats people without distinction.

Chloe, on the other hand, is waiting for Mark at the bar. In fact, the latter was planning a meeting to discuss the Blue Buddha case. Seeing that he doesn’t come, Chloe leaves him a message on her answering machine.

Alex traps the watch thief

Mr. Lejeune agreed to a drink with Guilhame at Les Sauvages later in the day. Therefore, Alex will be able to set a trap for him.

Meanwhile, Becker has been finding Alex rather strange lately. Indeed, the commissioner reckons he’s in pretty good shape for someone whose partner is in prison. If he fears that the police will quietly investigate the theft of expensive watches, Manu claims that his friend has moved on.

In turn, a disguised Jade arrives at Les Sauvages and poses as Guilham’s client. He then invites himself to the table Mr. Lejeune shares and insists on buying him a watch. Obviously, Jade plays her role perfectly and is quite heavy on her. An attitude that certainly won’t sit well with Mr. Leger, who ends up insulting him, then brutally wrings his neck. Gilham is quick to intervene. On the other hand, Ludo, who is sitting at the bar, takes in the whole scene…

Noem leaves Montpellier

Elodi accompanies Noem to the airport. In fact, the latter decided to go to the United States to join a group of friends on a farm. Before he leaves, Elodie promises to take care of his farm as if it were her own. Then Elodi and Noemi hug each other warmly and say goodbye.

At the same time, Akim confides in Elisha about Noemi’s departure. And suffice it to say, the cop wonders if their story would have worked without Ludo in the equation. Elise reminds him again that he slept with Margot and that they are no longer on the same wavelength.

Back at the farm, Elodie calls Ludo and tells him that Noemi has gone to the United States to see more clearly. Since she is the one holding the farm while he waits for her to leave, Ludo offers to help her with the horses. Elodie accepts and asks to come back to work next week.

A short while later, Ludo goes to Jade’s shop and tells her about his conversation with Elodie. And suffice it to say, it’s a relief that the young man didn’t remain unemployed!
