SPOILERS – Warning, the article below reveals potential spoilers for “Kaamelott – Part One”. If you do not want to know its contents, please do not read the following…
What will Arthur do now that he has reclaimed his throne?
Although he had sworn never to wear his crown again, Arthur returned to the kingdom of Logres after a decade’s absence, with his faithful Excalibur in hand, once again King of Brittany.
Even if Lancelot is still on the run and if Camelot’s castle is destroyed by Burgundian catapults, the hero, played by Alexandre Astier, can now look to the future and most likely resume his affairs where he left off.
“So the quest for the grail… when do we start?asks Horsa (as Sting), who intends to be a part of the adventure and take a seat around the new round table that Arthur plans to create. He seems determined to complete his mission given by the gods. Did you manage to find the grail?
What is MELÉAGANT cooking?
No doubt the downfall of Lancelot—whom the “Black-clad” actively promoted to the throne in Book V of the series—forced him to come out of his lair. Camelot’s big bad, in any case, is indeed back, as we see in the feature film’s post-credits scene.
Clearly very weakened (due to Lancelot’s failure), Melegante crawling through the snow and dead leaves is probably already plotting her next move. But what exactly is he up to? And what is its real purpose anyway?
Many question marks still surround this character, who could easily be considered the most mysterious of Camelot.
Where do Excalibur’s new powers come from?
After the fire is momentarily extinguished when Arthur pulls it back from the rock, the mythical sword of kings regains its original power, and even more so when the time comes for the king to cross swords with Lancelot.

“Word is that Excalibur has lost its power, that the gods are no longer on Arthur Pendragon’s side”, boasts a former knight when he comes face to face with his former sovereign. As the latter draws his sword and the sky fills with clouds, his mouth is now covered in lightning and thick blue smoke that has nothing to do with the light emitted earlier.
How is it possible? Would Arthur be able to restore the trust of the gods? But in this case, what is the action that enabled him to rise in their esteem? Could the kiss he (finally!) shared with Guinevere a while ago have something to do with this rebirth?
Where will Arthur and his knights live?
No more citadel, no more throne and no more round table! Burnt to ashes by Burgundian catapults on Arthur’s orders, the castle of Camelot, in which the heroes have lived since the beginning of the series, is now gone.

An opportunity for a new beginning for the king and all his former knights. While Arthur is already talking about setting up another round table, he will also have to rebuild the castle. But where?
Will a new Camelot be built on the ruins of the old one? Is Arthur looking for another homeland for his family and knights? And more than that, will he finally be able to start a family with Guinevere? Either way, the path to change seems more open than ever.
Who is the mysterious ghost before Lancelot?
Judging by the crown worn by the steam figure, this could be King Bunny, Lancelot’s late father. Indeed, it is near the ruins of Ban Castle – where Lancelot held Guinevere captive – that the apparition takes place. An appearance about which Alexandre Astier agreed to say a little more.

Will the lone knight accept his lost father’s help—in addition to what Melegant will no doubt give him—to exact his revenge?
The answer in Kaamelott – the second part, which we hope to discover in theaters as soon as possible.
