Forward Eduardo Mello’s start at Giravanz Kitakyushu in Japan was not easy. The Brazilian striker, who joined the club on loan from Cricíuma, has suffered two consecutive injuries – hamstring and adductor – and is yet to make a breakthrough at his new club.

– My arrival here was very positive, it is a wonderful place, I was welcomed very well, but unfortunately I suffered two injuries that made my departure difficult – said the player, in a conversation with Esporte News Mundo.

Eduardo played practically his entire youth career at Criciúma, in Santa Catarina. The player stayed at the club for five years and turned professional. With Tigre he played 14 professional games and found the net on three occasions.

– I came here to play and give my all for the club, I hope to be at 100% as soon as possible to be able to take the field and do what I love. I know my potential, unfortunately there are some problems that are beyond our control, but I am absolutely sure that I will come back and contribute in the way I like most, which is by scoring goals and helping the team – underlined the player.

Eduardo Mello is one of the great hopes of the club, which is counting on his return to recover from the complicated situation it is experiencing in the league. The team is currently last and sees a point of hope in Eduardo’s return, which he tries to return as soon as possible.

– I know that the moment is complicated and that the team needs me, I feel ready to play again and together with my teammates I will do my best so that the current difficult situation can be improved – concluded the player.
