Euphoria actor plays the King of Rock in Priscilla, directed by Sofia Coppola
Jacob Elordiwhich interprets Elvis Presley in Priscillanew film by Sofia Coppolarevealed that he only knew the King of Rock through the animation Lilo & Stitch (2002) before landing the role. In animation, Lilo introduces the star to Stitch and the alien falls in love with the artist, even dressing up like him and performing one of his songs:
“The most I knew about Elvis was from Lilo & Stitch“confessed Elordi in an interview with The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “Which is a lot!”, added the actor. In the conversation, he also stated that he didn’t believe he would get the job when he auditioned:
“Sofia sent me scripts and I said: ‘There’s no chance of that happening’. So I watched some clips of him coming back from the army in Germany and read the lines for about 15 minutes, shot two scenes, all thinking it wouldn’t amount to anything.”remembered.
