The greatest airline tragedy involving a football team will be told in a miniseries arriving on the streaming platform HBO Max on November 3rd. “Chapecó Dossier: The Game Behind the Tragedy” features interviews with survivors and families of victims of the Chapecoense plane crash and is one of the nominees for this year’s International Emmy, in the Best Documentary Feature category.

Divided into four episodes, the documentary seeks answers to the causes of the tragedy that killed 71 people. The production features interviews with survivors such as athletes Alan Ruschel and Hélio Neto, as well as family and close friends of the players and other club professionals who were victims of the accident.

Furthermore, images taken by the protagonists themselves during the journey and dramatizations that reconstruct the situations that preceded the plane crash that occurred in the early hours of November 28, 2016 will be used.

Sports journalists Juca Kfouri and Alex Sabino, former Romário player, will also participate, as will Ricardo Albacete, founder of the airline Lamia, and Marcos Rocha, former pilot and owner of the company. The information comes from UOL.
