The Last Days of Lady Di by Netflix: Discover the harrowing trailer for The Crown’s final season

The countdown to the final season of The Crown has begun. The Netflix series chronicling the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II will end as planned at the end of its sixth season (a season 5 ending was considered before the idea was ultimately abandoned).

Devoting one season to each decade of her reign, the series allowed several actors to play key members of the British royal family at different times in their lives. Thus, the role of the monarch was played by Claire Foy (seasons 1 and 2), Olivia Colman (seasons 3 and 4), and then Imelda Staunton (seasons 5 and 6).

Season 5 marked a major turning point as the Queen was removed from the plot in favor of Princess Diana. Introduced in Season 4 as actress Emma Corinne, Lady Dee now stars as Elizabeth Debic. Her ex-husband and future king Charles III is played by Dominic West.

Season 6 is particularly concerned with the horrific accident that claimed the life of the People’s Princess on August 31, 1997 in Paris. In addition, it was planned to split the broadcast of this final season into two parts: the first part to be seen from November 16, the second on December 14.

The first five seasons of The Crown are available now exclusively on Netflix.
