Moist, warm air predominates over much of Brazil, maintaining conditions for heavy clouds to form and rain to appear across nearly the entire country. These clouds cause rain showers with lightning that can be strong in several places.

Southern region
New zones of instability are forming in southern Brazil, increasing the risk of storms in all states.
The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur in the western and southwestern parts of Paraná, where it rains for most of the day.
In the rest of Paraná, in the west and north of Santa Catarina and in the Itajaí Valley, the Rain showers occur several times during the day. In other areas of Santa Catarina, in the center, west and north of Rio Grande do Sul, the sun appears and rain showers with lightning occur in the afternoon and night. In Porto Alegre it should only rain at night.
The south of Rio Grande do Sul is sunny and isolated rain.
Heavy rain may occur in all states of the southern region.
South-eastern region
A cold front moves away from Espírito Santo and lots of warm, moist air continues to spread over the Southeast region of Brazil, maintaining conditions for the formation of heavy clouds over all states.
The day is cloudy with frequent rain on the Espírito Santo coast, on the north coast of Rio de Janeiro and in the Lagos region. In other areas of the State of Rio, in the interior of Espírito Santo, in the center, east and south of Minas Gerais and in the east of the State of Sao Paulo, the day remains very cloudy and rain at any time. In the center, west and north of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, rain showers with lightning may occur at any time, interspersed with sunny periods.
There is a risk of heavy rain in all states of the south-eastern region.
Midwest Region
Warm, moist air predominates over the Midwest region of the country, and heavy clouds form in all areas.
Throughout the state of Mato Grosso the sun appears for most of the day and rain showers with lightning occur in the afternoon and evening. There may be heavy rain in the eastern part of the state.
In the Federal District and Goiás there are rain showers at any time of the day, interspersed with periods of sunshine. There may be moderate to heavy rain.
In Mato Grosso do Sul there are many clouds and rain showers at any time. There is a risk of Heavy rain.
North-East Region
Dry air predominates in the northeastern region of Brazil, inhibiting the formation of large clouds and the occurrence of rain.
Almost the entire North-East Region presents a day with strong sunshine and no rain.
Some temporary rain showers they can occur in the coastal strip, Zona da Mata and Agreste between Ceará and Pernambuco.
In the extreme south of Maranhão and Piauí, to the west, south-west and south of Bahia, rain showers with lightningwhich can be moderate to strong.
Northern Region
Heavy clouds, causing rain and lightning, form over almost all of northern Brazil due to the moist, warm air that predominates over the region.
OR sun and dry weather They predominate in almost all areas of Pará, Roraima, Amapá and in the far north of Tocantins. Rain showers may occur in northern Amapá, far southern Pará and western Roraima.
For the other areas of the Northern Region, including the Manaus region of the entire Amazon, there are sunny periods and several rain showers with lightning during the day, which can be moderate to strong.

Watch out for moderate rain in Grande Rio and the Lagos region (RJ)
Be careful with very dry air with humidity between 21% and 30% in the central-north of Bahia, in the hinterland of Alagoas, Sergipe, Pernambuco and Paraíba, in the central-south of Ceará, in Piauí, except in the extreme north and south of the state.
