Sequel to the 2018 film, new film is part of the Conjuring universe

One week after arriving on digital platforms for purchase and rental, The Nun 2sequel to the 2018 film and another chapter in the universe of Conjuringpremiered this Friday, October 27th, on HBO Max, at no additional cost for subscribers of the streaming service.

In the new, Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga, American Horror Story) is called to confront a new appearance of Valak, the demonic nun, in a convent in France where a priest was murdered. Fate ends up leading the nun to meet an old friend, who is in trouble and needs her help.
