The new Prime Video production delves into the developments of the infamous Richthofen case, revisiting Suzane and Daniel’s point of view and bringing to light the behind the scenes of the police investigations
The third and final film of the von Richthofen case triad comes out this Friday 27th on Prime Video. The Girl Who Killed Her Parents – The Confession premiered today on Prime Video. Starring Carla Diaz, Leonardo Bittencourt, Allan Souza Lima and Bárbara Colen, the production promises to be one of the highlights of the streaming platform.
The former head of the Civil Police of São Paulo, José Masi, played a crucial role in clarifying the crime. He noticed strange behaviors in Suzane and Daniel, such as the lack of desperation and the obvious complicity between them. The investigation led to the discovery of evidence that contradicted the initial version of the robbery, such as allegedly “stolen” family jewels found in the mansion’s garbage.
The crime scene was meticulously edited to simulate a robbery, but details such as the garbage bags used to cover the victims’ faces raised suspicions. The investigation revealed that the crime was planned and executed with the help of Suzane, who had in-depth knowledge of her parents’ house and routines.
The motivation for the crime was Suzane’s parents’ hostility towards her relationship with Daniel. The complaint from the São Paulo Public Prosecutor details the events of the night of the crime, describing how Suzane, Daniel and Cristian entered the house, attacked the couple with clubs and then attempted to organize a robbery. The three were arrested, confessed to the crime and were sentenced.
