Brazil is guaranteed three tennis finals
Saturday could be a historic day for Brazil. Following her place in the women’s doubles final, Luisa Stefani secured a place in the mixed doubles final alongside Marcelo Demoliner.
The two defeated the Argentine pair of Facundo Acosta and Martina Capurro 6/2 6/4 on Friday evening and will face the Colombians Yulia Lizarazo and Nicolas Barrientos for the gold medal.
In addition to this, Brazil can guarantee two more Golds with Stefani and Laura Pigossi against the Colombians Maria Herazo and Maria Perez and in the men’s pair with Demoliner and Gustavo Heide against the Chileans Tomas Barrios and Alejandro Tabilo.
