The Barcelona Museum promotes an exhibition for naked visitors this Saturday; understand

The proposal was designed to make visitors feel “in the same situation” as the naked statues on display

Have you ever imagined visiting a museum completely naked? This Saturday, the 28th, visitors to Barcelona will have this possibility. This is an action of Archaeological Museum of Catalonia Comes from Catalan naturist clubfor a specific exposure.

The exposition The Riace Bronzesby the artist Luigi Spinafeatures images of nude statues from the 5th century BC. On the museum’s website it states that the experience was designed so that visitors can see themselves reflected in the work: “in the same situation they find themselves in, completely naked and surrounded by other organs”.

The first visit in this style took place on September 30th. On that occasion thirty naked people followed the museum’s guide. For the naturalistic experience the cost is 7 euros, with limited places.

“It is not the first time that such an initiative has taken place. At the Cerdanyola Museum (Barcelona) there have already been naturist visits, but it is true that they are not common and that citizens are calling for these events”, said Irene Vicente Salas, guide to the exhibition, a El PaĆs Spanish.
