What’s new is a sequence of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Death on the Nile (2022), and features the iconic detective facing an otherworldly mystery in the city of Venice, Italy, where the new story takes place.
In history, Poirot is living in self-imposed exile, after retiring, in a post-World War II Venice. However, on the eve of All Saints’ Day, celebrated on November 1st, when one of the guests at a séance is mysteriously murdered, he needs to put his detective skills back into play to solve the crime.
