In the story, a governor issues an order to arrest the children of undocumented immigrants in the United States. To escape unfair sentences, young people are faced with the possibility of having the charges dropped if they sign up for a volunteer work program at a home for the elderly.
Thinking they are making their lives easier, they accept the proposal. However, as soon as they arrive at the place, they begin to realize that something strange is happening there and end up discovering an evil conspiracy, which affects both the institution’s patients and themselves.
