Matthew Perry: Tests rule out overdose of fentanyl and methamphetamine

Early tests indicate Matthew Perry’s death was not caused by an overdose of fentanyl or methamphetamine. The information was released by the TMZ website, citing police sources. Perry was found dead last Saturday (28 years old), in his home in Los Angeles. Police found no traces of illicit drugs in the actor’s residence. Drugs for depression and anxiety were found at the scene. According to the BBC, rescuers had gone to the scene to treat a person suffering from a “water-related emergency”. One of the main hypotheses is that the actor drowned.
