New data from the company shows that season 2, which premiered on October 5, collected 446 million minutes in the first phase of viewing. Three days on Disney+.
According to Nielsen measurements, 731 million minutes are accumulated in the first season. Reportedly, this is a 39% drop between seasons 1 and 2 The Hollywood Reporter.
Many factors could explain this decline, including the fact that the first season of Loki was one of the first MCU projects released after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. 2023 also saw several low-profile Marvel Studios projects, including Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the Secret Invasion series, which may have led to a decline in interest in the franchise as a whole.
