Adriano Imperador, a historic name in Brazilian football, was present this Friday at the Autódromo de Interlagos (3). He was a guest of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) on the occasion of events related to the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix, which will take place there this weekend.
And, in fact, the former Flamengo, Corinthians and Inter striker did not go unnoticed. In one of the most important moments of his time at Interlagos, he handed over the pole position trophy to Dutchman Max Verstappen. In qualifying he set the best time and will start ahead of the race, which will take place on Sunday. He, in fact, is already a seasonal F1 champion.
But Adriano Imperador had previously been involved in other actions. Much harassed, especially by the Italians, he visited the Ferrari team’s pits and took photos with the Spanish team’s driver Carlos Sainz. Furthermore, he signed some autographs and was approached by team members inside the paddock.
