After speculation and much anticipation, the third season of Euphoria I finally got a preview of the debut. According to information from Variety, the series will return in 2025, as officially announced by HBO in a press conference.
Euphoria is one of HBO Max’s most successful series, being the most watched streaming series in Latin America after its debut. The production received at least 16 Emmy nominations, giving HBO the first position in terms of nominations (for a total of 140). It also earned its leading lady, Zendaya, four nominations for the same award: a record for the actress, who became the youngest producer to be nominated.
It is important to underline that, unfortunately, one of the actors who most stood out and won over fans of the series will not return for next year. Angus Cloud, who lived in Fezco, died in July, aged 25.
Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate various issues of their age, such as drugs, sex, finding identity, trauma, social media behavior and friendships. The focus of the series is on Rue Bennett (Zendaya), who, due to drug addiction, faces family and school adjustment problems.
The previous two seasons of the production are still available on HBO Max.
