The “Stranger Things” actor plays Stan Lee of “The Boys”.

“The Boys” social media profile confirmed the casting of Paul Reiser (“Stranger Things”) in the third season of Amazon’s Prime Video series. The actor will play Legend, a superhero expert who wrote and edited comics for Vought before becoming an informant for Billy Brutus and his team.

The character is inspired by Stan Lee, the creator of the Marvel universe, and will debut in the fifth episode of the current season, which will arrive in streaming this Friday (17).

Even more extreme than usual, the third season of “The Boys” is reaching even more ratings than the previous one. Although Prime Video does not release specific viewing data, the platform said the global audience for the third season premiere grew 17% from the release of the second year of production.

The series is already renewed for season 4 and will receive a new youth spin-off, centered on students of a superhero university, which will see the participation of Brazilian Marco Pigossi (“Invisible City”).
