‘I was in tears when I saw…’: Lucy Lucas’ confidence on first meeting Clem

On Monday, November 6, TF1 invites Clem fans to watch a special bonus.going back to home“In which our hero is about to get married! Unfortunately, the character played by Lucy Lucas suffers, in particular, from strange dreams involving Caro (Victoria Abril), her dead mother…

Several former stars of the series return for this special installment. What’s more, if the community is there, Clem’s continued adventures may see the light of day in Season 13! For AlloCiné, Lucy Lucas recalls the whole adventure…

AlloCiné: How it happened going back to home With all your ex-partners in “Clem”?

Lucy Lucas: It was super moving and exciting, but also very, very funny. We were very happy to see each other again. We knew it would be quite short because we usually spend six months on set. So we wanted to use it right away! The union happened very naturally. Our lifelong complicity has come to the fore again. It was really delicious.

Victoria Abril makes a big return as Caro. Unfortunately, you share a few scenes together. do you regret

Yes, I wish I had more, that’s for sure! After that, I’m not sure if it’s because of specific restrictions. I think the TV movie was just written that way…

Was the scene in this special episode more difficult for you to perform?

In one sequence, Agustin Galiana and I are going to watch old videos of Caroline in Canada. In fact, the game was not easy, because it was the first time in the story that Clem saw his mother again with his eyes and heard her voice again after her death…

Obviously, this is very disturbing. The scene should be very exciting… but at the same time, Caro is on the screen, in an absolutely incredible costume, laughing as he knows how to be funny. It was a huge contrast! It was not easy to interpret.

This TV movie is by no means a conclusion, but it looks a lot like one… If this is the end of Clem’s adventures, will you be satisfied?

Of course. If we leave it at that, I’m very grateful that the community has followed us for so long, that we were able to build a team that was both artistic and technical, but also human, beautiful and truly enriching. This role still represents a very large third of my life.

Anyway, I’m proud of these two episodes. I find them really beautiful. I think they are full of the essence of Clem, of what makes her so charming: the solidarity between the characters or even the overwhelming love. It is an other-oriented television movie.

How do you look at the completed journey with “Clem”?

I guess I don’t have enough perspective to realize it yet. But it is very mobile. Plus, there’s a little flashback at the end of the episode. To be honest, I was in tears when I saw him. I remembered that Clem had an absolutely huge journey…

He experienced an infinite number of dramas and joys. And I also experienced a lot with this character. I became a mother three times. I built the third place with my family. We moved, completely changed our lives. It’s extremely exciting to take the time to look over your shoulder and see what you’ve accomplished.

What advice would today’s Lucy give to someone starting in “Klem”?

I would say: “You’re right, you always do your best, but don’t worry. Don’t get sick of everything that escapes youe.”

Have you ever made yourself sick?

Yes, because I always want everything to go as smoothly as possible and I don’t want to disappoint the audience. I want to be a perfect mother too. This can be a lot of pressure. However, perfection is not necessarily the goal to be achieved. Truly, the only thing we should seek in life is happiness. No one can be perfect.
