Super Season 2 for Invincible!

After an absence of more than two years, the animated series Invincible made a big return to Prime Video on November 3. The opportunity for viewers to meet their favorite characters: Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), a young vigilante who wants to use his powers for good and follow in the footsteps of his super-dad; Nolan Grayson (JK Simmons), aka Omni-Man, Mark’s father and the strongest superhero of all time; Debbie Grayson (Sandra Oh), the mother of the former and the wife of the latter…

A modern-day odyssey full of action, wacky humor and references, Invincible benefits from a colorful cast. But the arrival of these new episodes also marks the arrival of new vigilantes and villains, played by voices you know… A look at this super-casting!

The face of This Is Us and the iconic Mrs. Maisel, Sterling K. Brown has already made a name for himself in the superhero world with his appearance in Black Panther.

Peter Cullen as Theedus

The superhero Bulletproof, whose power is to absorb kinetic energy to withstand attacks and blows, first appears in the flesh in season two. But despite this late arrival, the character has been a hottie… since the pilot episode!

Indeed, when Mark found his suit, he tried on a suit that was strangely reminiscent of bulletproof. An easter egg that heralded the appearance of the vigilante two years before its official introduction.

The character is voiced by Jay Pharoah, an important comic figure on Saturday Night Live who has since appeared on film in Steven Soderbergh’s Paranoia, among others.

Cleveland Berto is Darkwing II

It is impossible to forget Darkwing, an iconic character from the first episodes of Invincible, created to pay tribute to Batman, whose tragic fate left a mark in the minds of viewers. Don’t worry: Darkwing is back in this second season… but not in the way you think!

It is his assistant, formerly known as Nightwing, who takes over his position. Determined to get revenge on his mentor, he is played by Cleveland Burton (Shameless, Lucifer).
