Former Hallmark star Danica McKellar may be busy with her new job at the GAC Family network, but things have been a little tough for her lately. The wonderful years alum recently spoke of a “sudden and unexpected death” in the family, and another former Hallmark star, among others, has asked for support.
Although McKellar didn’t go into detail about what happened, he shared a long story instagram post to let your followers know to contact you if they need help and to always breathe. Her photo shows her looking up and concludes her post with lots of love:

Fans and friends were quick to show their support for the actress. Among them was Benjamin Ayres (who starred in several Hallmark films, including 2021). You, me and the Christmas trees with McKellar) responded with a short but sweet message. An image can say more than a thousand words, but emojis can say even more:
❤️🙏🏼
Ayres has starred in several network films starting in 2016, including the Chronic mysteries trilogy on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel. It’s nice to see him bond with her after starring in a movie together. He also gives fans hope that maybe the two can star in a GAC movie together.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Ayres wasn’t the only one to show his support. Danica McKellar’s new network family, GAC, sent their condolences:
Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Danica. 🙏🏼❤️🩹
Lindsay Maxwell, who has also starred in several Hallmark films (including Coming home for Christmas with McKellar), he also gave him his support. The actress sent her greetings and her prayers to her co-star, accompanied by a sweet white heart:
I am so sorry for the unexpected death in your family 🙏🏼 I pray for you and your dear family 🤍
Fellow Hallmark Christmas movie backbone Alicia Witt sent him a sweet message of love and support, also praising everything she said:
Sorry for your loss. amen for all you said – this unprecedented joy and comfort in the midst of unimaginable pain ❤️🙌🏻❤️
It’s certainly not easy to lose someone so close, but it seems Danica McKellar is getting a lot of love from those who love her. (She isn’t even the first Hallmark star to lose someone and receive a wave of support.) The actress appears to have found a way to cope, with the goal of welcoming “the new week with excitement and a sense of purpose.” .
Having great support always helps in a tough loss, so it’s encouraging to see all the comments for her. Plus, her post on her Instagram post of her receiving so many loving comments is proof that you can still find precious moments of joy even in difficult times like the ones you’ve been through recently.
