This movie is rated 4.7 out of 5 by the press and 4.3 out of 5 by the audience: the sequel shows an emotional trailer!

In the Kelsey Mann-directed film, young Riley is now a newly graduated teenager. Which is not without causing a great upheaval in the headquarters, which has to face something unexpected: the arrival of new emotions! Joy, sadness, anger, fear and disgust – which have worked successfully for a long time – do not really know how to behave when anxiety comes. And it seems he’s not the only one…

The director confides in the film’s press release: “Even though she’s new to the team, Anxiety isn’t one to lag behind. It even makes total sense when you think about all the things that can go on in our minds as teenagers.”

Written by Meg LeFauve, co-writer of the first film with Pete Docter, now Pixar’s art director, the feature film focuses on the difficult transition of adolescence and the arrival of brand new emotions that can sometimes be difficult to master, such as anxiety. Doubt, shame, love…

4 new emotes should also be coming to HQ if we are to believe the characters we can see in the movie poster shown below.

Maya Hawke voices the newcomer, while Amy Poehler, Diane Lane, Phyllis Smith and Louise Black will reprise their roles in the original version of the animated feature, which is slated to hit our theaters on June 19, 2024.

It is not yet known if Pierre Nin, Melanie Laurent, Marilou Berry, Charlotte Le Bon and Gilles Lelouch will return for the French version.

Released in 2015, Pete Docter and Ronaldo del Carmen’s Vice Versa was a critical (4.7/5 stars) and public success (rated 4.3/5 by AlloCiné viewers). It brought 4.5 million viewers to French theaters and grossed $857 million at the worldwide box office.
