AM government says Comando member Vermelho had no ‘legitimacy’ to attend an event


Luciane Barbosa was nominated by an Amazonian committee and participated in a meeting financed by the Ministry of Human Rights; state government says her name was ‘pending appointment’

The Amazon government confirmed that Luciane Barbosa, named member of the Vermelho Command, was nominated by a state body to attend an event at the Ministry of Human Rights (MDH) in early November, but that she had not yet been the position named. According to the State Executive, she “did not have the legitimacy to participate in the meeting as a representative of the collegiate”.
