Rose finally gets answers
After thinking about it all weekend, Rose now has one certainty: Carla is her daughter. Clotilda is more careful to avoid jumping to conclusions from coincidences. To find out, Rose decided to take a DNA test using a website that offers this type of service to individuals. He confides in his sister that he stole the hair without Carla’s knowledge for the test. This immediately alerts Clotilde.
At the Institute, Clotilde tells Antoine and Constance what Rose believes and what she has done to prove it. Concerned that her sister is starting to have seizures again, she seeks advice. Constance and Antoine advise her to check to see if Rose is doing well with her treatment.
In the cafeteria, Carla is in despair: she posted a message on social networks to find Gaspar Merin, but she did not receive an answer. Salome and Berenia urge him not to lose hope. Jimmy, in turn, criticizes Carla for not taking it upon herself to clean the cafeteria, which they are both responsible for. The tone between the two students rises. Carla lets Jim clean the cafeteria alone after humiliating him in front of his friends.
For her part, Clotilda confronts Rose about her impulsiveness, suggesting it may have something to do with her bipolarity. Annoyed that her sister doesn’t trust her, Rose shows her the treatment, which she proceeds to do right, then leaves.
Meanwhile, Carla receives a message from Gaspar Merini, who claims to have seen her post and agrees to see her. Carla immediately shows him to Suleiman and Berenice and accepts Gaspar Merini’s invitation. Carla also wonders if he is her biological father.
Later in the park, Carla is enjoying herself with Salome and Berenice before she notices Rose looking at her strangely. The latter approaches him to advise him not to have too many expectations about his post on social networks. Carla then shows him the reply she got from Gaspar Merin, adding that they have a meeting the next day. Rose is surprised.
She goes to Antoine and confides in him her sadness and disappointment. He even wonders if his sister wasn’t right about his whole treatment. Antoine comforts her. Meanwhile, Rose receives the DNA test results. The verdict is clear: Carla is indeed his daughter…
Jasmin is standing next to Thibaut
Although Thibault had hoped to have time to study with Jasmine before class, he is too busy making an advent calendar for Naelle. So she offers her boyfriend to review without her, to ensure that they meet again at Guino’s course, for which they work in pairs.
After collecting a packet of fabrics, Jasmine sets up shop on the grounds of the institute to continue making bags and gifts for her son’s advent calendar. Deva and David come to help him.
For his part, Thibault finds himself alone for Guino’s class. He tries to contact Jasmine but gets no response. If he tries to defend his lover in front of the teacher, the latter believes that there is a limit to his understanding. Thibault has no choice but to tackle today’s recipe, very technically, without jasmine.
After class, Thibault goes straight to Jasmine and scolds her for not keeping her promise. The result was that he completely missed Guinot’s recipe. Jasmine apologizes to him and explains that she didn’t see the time passing by making Nael’s fasting calendar. Thibault forgives him.
Leonard confesses his feelings to Ethan
For her course, Hortense forms pairs that are responsible for highlighting mushrooms with culinary markers that are typical of a country chosen at random. They are celebrated the next day. Hortense chooses the couples herself: Ethan is with Billy and Maya is with Leonard.
Billy immediately notices the coldness between Maya and Leonard. The latter confirms that she had an argument with her best friend Ethan and has been avoiding them ever since.
Students are busy behind the work surface. Ethan and Billy drew South Korea, and Leonard and Maya faced Lithuania. After studying the culinary traditions of this country, Maya suggests starting with ravioli with mushroom filling. Despite his good will, Leonard remains cold and distant, still unable to comprehend what he told them during their argument.
As the lesson progresses, Ethan doesn’t notice the tension between Maya and Leonard. The young man questions Billy about this, but he replies that he is not the right person to answer his questions.
After class, Ethan finds Leonard in the hallway and tries to figure out what’s going on. The latter ends up confessing her feelings to him. As she prepares to leave to continue distancing herself, Ethan holds her back. He refuses to let them continue to avoid each other like this. Two boys hug each other…
