Without Amber Heard, “Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom” has a new trailer; I wait

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom. In it, the hero played by Jason Momoa appears talking to his son. The material is also filled with underwater action scenes that are a staple of the franchise.

Aquaman 2 continues the story of the King of the Seas after the film released in 2018. In the new trailer, the DC hero’s house can be seen on fire, indicating that his family is in danger.

Just like in the first film of the series, Aquaman faces his main rival: Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The information comes from Omelette.

The new trailer attracted attention because it contained no scenes of actress Amber Heard. The 37-year-old artist plays the warrior Mera. The first trailer for the sequel, released in September, contained only one scene of the character.

Heard’s absence is yet another sign of tension between the actress and Jason Momoa. The problems between the two became public after recordings of conversations between the actress and her therapist were leaked, which were presented as evidence in the trial involving her and her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp.

In a conversation with her doctor, the actress reported: “Jason wants me fired. Jason [chegou] drunk and late to the set. Dressed like Johnny [Depp]. Even with rings.
