In this scene, we see Jasmine (Zoe Severin) looking for something in her closet. “Is that what you want?”asks Jim (Beckmont Loans), who appears at the same time in the dressing room, envelope in hand.
Jasmin is accused of stealing exam papers!
But what is this envelope? To understand everything, you need to take a step back. In the episode It All Begins Tomorrow, Friday, November 24, Jimmy deliberately accuses his brother’s girlfriend of stealing the famous envelope containing the subjects of the third-year students’ next exams, after the envelope goes missing and Teissier (Benjamin Barochet) blames Thibaut (Félix Paco). Reasonable suspicions, because indeed Thibault took the envelope from his father’s (Stephane Blancafort) desk, with the idea of giving a little help to Jasmine, who refuses to be lied to.
Earlier in Monday’s episode, the director of the institute assured Jasmine that the sanction would be reduced if she returned the closed envelope… except that here the envelope is held by Jim, it is open! “You can go see Taysier now”Jimmy says to Jasmine, both shocked and appalled at the dirty trick her friend’s brother just pulled on her.
“I protect my brother, I don’t care about others.”
The young woman then asks him if he knows the bad position he is putting her in. But Jimmy admits: he did it so that Jasmine would stop “You’re messing with Thibaut’s stupidity”. The third year student then points out that Thibault created the problems here on his own. Only Jimmy, who is very (overly) protective of his brother, whose girlfriend he never loved, doesn’t see it that way: “I protect my brother, I don’t care about others”he says.
With that, Jimmy leaves. Jasmine then immediately bursts into tears. Moments later, Kelly (Axel Dodier) enters the locker room to find his friend in a critical condition. He asks what’s going on, to which Jasmine replies that she’s just getting on her nerves between the pressures of being at the institute, being tired, and her son Nael. Kelly then offers to help, which Jasmine refuses.
So what will happen to Jasmine? How will Thibaut react when he learns that a young woman is on his side and that his brother pushed him down? Will Kelly believe in her friend’s innocence and try to save her? The following adventures in Jasmine’s life can be seen from Monday to Friday at 18:30 on TF1.
