Disney+ has released a new limited series online that deserves your attention and may appeal to fans of thrillers and heist fiction. In the program: A series with intense humor that tells the story of what happens after a robbery, when members of the team are killed one after another.
Years after a high-profile heist that would have dwarfed the La Casa de Papel gang, or even Lupine, the robbers find themselves chasing one after the other in Final Destination style with a masked avenger playing reaper to get himself. Take revenge on these seasoned criminals turned legal citizens.

This new TV production is called Criminals and it is adapted from the novel Criminals: The robbery was just the beginning By Richard Brewer and Gary Phillips. Created by Jaime Blakeson (The 5th Wave, Gunpowder, I’m Really Interested), this British series focuses mainly on the character of Joe Petrus.
This former landlord now lives with his fiance and children in a peaceful small town in the United States. But he hides a secret: three years ago, he was recruited by Diane Harewood, a famous British criminal, to join her team and take part in a high crime that makes Joe a rich man and gives him a whole new life.
Today, his past catches up with him as a masked killer kills all the members of this heist team one by one in order to get back at Diane. Will he succeed in protecting and saving his new peaceful life?
Joe then enters a race against time and must mobilize his old skills in hopes of saving his loved ones and escaping this new deadly threat in a bloody and bitter game of cat-and-mouse.
The Culprits cast includes Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Wrong, Utopia), Gemma Arterton (Good Morning England, Gemma Bower), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Good Place, Why Women Kill), Niamh Allgar (Raised by Wolves), Carl Collins. ( Doctor Who ), Amara Karan ( The Death and Life of John F. Donovan ), Tara Aboud ( Rebel ) and Kamel El Basha ( Insult ).
The good news is, there’s no need to wait weeks to discover the outcome of this gripping thriller, seamlessly executed with polished aesthetics and effective staging, as Disney+ has released eight full episodes of The Culprits online.
