John is suspected of murder

After spending the night at Bastien’s bedside in the hospital, John wakes up. Both of them are still struggling to come to terms with Benjamin’s diagnosis the day before. Bastien learned about leukemia overnight on the Internet. Benjamin comes to see her to explain the procedure: the oncologist will take care so she can start chemotherapy the next day. And to maximize his chances of recovery, he will benefit from a bone marrow transplant.

Meanwhile, Aurora and Karim are sent to the scene of the crime: Mr. Clement’s lifeless body has been found by his cleaner. When questioned by Aurore, he describes his boss as someone intelligent who has received few visits except for motorcycle repairs. Karim in turn notices that nothing has been stolen. He finds the murder weapon – a pipe wrench – not far from the victim. Given that there were no signs of a break-in and that the death occurred between 4 and 6 a.m., police concluded that the victim knew her killer.

In turn, Filippino leaves Violet at school. She confides in him her dismay at not hearing from Bastien since their argument. When Violet is about to follow her friend, the latter texts her and explains that she doesn’t want to see anyone. So Filippino reassures Violetta about Bastien’s behavior, which is clearly nothing personal.

At the hospital, Benjamin meets Vic in the break room and talks to him about the Bastien case. Vicki is quite optimistic because her chances of recovery are better thanks to her age. Benjamin admits this, but he still sympathizes with the situation John and Bastien find themselves in, especially since they seem so close.

At the police station, Mr. Flement’s cleaning lady recognizes a motorcyclist who occasionally visited him for repairs. This is John. Karim checks his record and notes that he was arrested in the 2000s. After his release, he disappeared from the radar. After John’s fingerprints are found on the pipe wrench, the police prepare to arrest him.

At the hospital, Benjamin comes to see John to express his admiration. However, John feels guilty about what is happening to his son. Bastien just shows up in his room complaining of boredom. His father promises to bring him his console that evening.

After searching Johnny in his garage and then his house, Aurora and Karim return to the police station empty-handed. Martin informs them that John’s phone rang downtown the day before last. As for the Auror, he had time to go through John’s accounts. Thus he found himself going into debt to buy a house from Mr. Flement in his lifetime, which gave him an excellent motive. Suddenly John’s phone dies in the hospital. Aurora and Karim rush there.

In the hospital lobby, John warns Benjamin that he’s going to go home while he takes a shower and gets things for his son. He is then interrupted by Auro, who has come to arrest him in connection with Mr. Flement’s murder. John pretends to cooperate before escaping. Riding a motorcycle, he evades the police under Benjamin’s horrified eyes…

Chloe wants to change her life

At breakfast, Chloe discovers a letter from National Education in her mail. When he opens it, he finds that he will be transferred to Frontignan High School starting next week. Her husband and son are delighted with her because this new assignment meets all her criteria.

During the day, Chloe goes to see Rafael before he leaves for Rennes with Camille. Chloe admits to her friend that she feels like she’s used to her job and isn’t sure she wants to continue. With everything that has happened to him, Raphael proves that it is important to do what matters.

Meanwhile, Alex and Tristan are happy to report that business is off to a good start at Mas. However, the absence of Gilles presents them with a difficulty: it is impossible to combine the operation of the restaurant and the operation of the stand at the Christmas market. If Tristan refuses to let go of a customer base that is finally starting to become loyal, Alex is giving up the Christmas market, which is a significant part of her turnover. So Tristan suggests he hire someone to take care of the stand.

Chloe, on the other hand, goes to see her mother in the hospital. He also tells her about his desire to leave the profession. Mariana analyzes this decision as a result of post-traumatic shock due to the explosion at her old high school.

Back at home, Chloe meets her friend who asks all her contacts for a Christmas stand. Finding no one, Chloe offers to take care of him. This will allow him to have an activity and think about what he is going to do professionally, given that he is going to give up the position of National Education. Alexander supports him in his choice.

Timothy is back

At Victor’s, Filipina looks at the accounts of her farm and sees that it is on the verge of liquidation due to the poisoning of its soils dating back several months. Victor, however, explains that he can’t see his farm being abandoned: that’s why he’s renting out his old house so he can put money into his wine estate and maintain it. The Philippines is ready to think of ways to optimize it.

In the spoon, Filipina continues to look into Victor’s property accounts. Violet is also interested in this. According to the Philippines, the sector has great potential provided drastic measures are taken.

Back at the farm, Filipina offers Victor to be her 50% partner. However, the latter absolutely wants to stay in the majority to be his own boss. At the same time, he is interrupted by a call from his son Timothy. Returning from America, to his surprise, he recently discovered that their house is occupied by tenants. Annoyed, Victor offers his son to pick him up immediately, so he postpones the conversation with Filipina until later.
