The second edition of the alternative music festival Primavera Sound São Paulo begins its two-day marathon this Saturday afternoon (12/02) at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in the capital of São Paulo.
Four stages with very varied attractions, with the American band The Killers as the main protagonist on the first day of the event, followed closely by the Pet Shop Boys. Other artists taking to the main stage on this day include The Hives and Marisa Monte. Furthermore, the audience will be able to enjoy performances by Slowdive, Cansei de Ser Sexy, Black Midi, Off!, Metric and many other groups.
The festival bids farewell on Sunday (3/12), with The Cure headlining, accompanied by performances from Beck, Carly Rae Jepsen and Just Mustard on the main stage. Meanwhile, the parallel stages host Bad Religion, Róisín Murphy, The Blessed Madonna, Soccer Mommy, TOKiMONSTA and other attractions.
The list also includes numerous DJs and a good variety of Brazilian and Spanish artists, reflecting the festival’s origins in Barcelona.
The production is by Time for Fun (TF4), the same producer who brought Taylor Swift to Brazil. And after the tragedy that accompanied the singer’s visit to Rio, during a heat wave that caused deaths and fainting, Primavera Sound will have three water stations, with 12 fountains each, as well as three islands with free distribution. The event will also distribute water at the stage barricades and at the festival access gates. Finally, disposable plastic water cups and sealed flexible plastic water bottles will be permitted.
Those who cannot follow the live broadcast can also follow from home, with live broadcasts of the shows on the Multishow and Globoplay pay channels.
